Jerald (Jerry) Loy Supnick was born on February 14, 1944 to Elaine and Bernhart Supnick (deceased).
His gift of laughter, creativity, and love was seen throughout his life. Jerry married the love of his life Phyllis (Gough) Supnick, on June 4, 1965. He worked at Sperry UNIVAC repairing computers. Returning calls with, “This is Jerry from Sperry!” was one of his favorite lines.
Jerry always wanted girls and was rewarded with Patricia (Patty) Supnick (Paul Sercombe) and Nancy (Steve) Lentner.
He was a skilled handyman and woodworker. Jerry completed work on a home addition, camper van, and cabin in Rogers City, Michigan.
A lifelong member of the Lutheran church, he helped with the maintenance of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. Jerry also attended Peace Lutheran in Rogers City, Michigan, and lastly Holy Cross Lutheran in Jenison, Michigan.
From family camping trips to church events, his candid photos reflect his creativity and laughter. But perhaps Jerry’s pictures of his grandson, Grayson Lentner, show his true love for his subjects, too. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service is being planned for later this year.
