Marcella Supnick Obituary

Passed away March 19, 2023 at age 98, a longtime resident of Camden and Cherry Hill. Marcella had a long exceptional life filled with the love of her family and many friends and her many accomplishments. Before having five children with her late husband, Hon. Samuel L. Supnick, Marcella worked as an elementary school teacher in Camden. She was a Past President of the National Council of Jewish Women and became involved with the Camden Children's Shelter. This led to her long time work as a family counselor with the Camden County Superior Court. She was an avid golfer playing into her nineties.
Marcella is survived by four children, Lynne (Steve) Rosner, Richard (Barbara) Supnick, Fred Supnick and Sherri (Michael) Bellino, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Her son, Joel, predeceased her.
Relatives and friends are invited Wednesday, March 22, 2023 beginning 10:00AM to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 2001 Berlin Road, Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Shiva will be observed at the late residence. Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

My mother Phyllis recently told me of Mrs. Supnick´s passing. She was a terrific person who practically let me live at their home with as her son Joel was one of my childhood buddies, She was a smart, caring and giving person. I pray for her and her whole family...
