Jeraldine Elaine Massa Moreau, 81, of Greenville, SC, passed away at home on October 18, 2025, in the presence of family and friends who loved her most. Our beloved Tati, Nana, Hallie Berrie Jerrie and Yadi will be greatly missed.
Jeraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Ivon, who passed away on October 15, 2021. Jeraldine is survived by her four children: Andrea (Greenville, SC), Jeffrey (Belton, SC), Justin (San Diego, CA), and Courtney (Hiram, GA).
Jeraldine was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren: Mackenzie, Madison, and Thomas (Belton, SC), born to Jeffrey and his wife Jennifer Moreau, and Jaxson (Greenville, SC) born to Andrea.
Jeraldine was born in Buffalo, NY on March 1, 1944. Her parents were Samuel and Florence Massa who preceded her in death. Jeraldine was raised in Southern California where she attended Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, CA. After graduating in 1962, she met her best friend, Diana Hennessy Daniels. They maintained a friendship throughout life and “Aunt Dee” was present when Jeraldine passed.
Jeraldine married Ivon on October 3, 1964, and spent 50 years living in California. Ivon was a residential homebuilder and Jeraldine most notably worked for the Torrance and Huntington Beach school districts as an executive assistant. In 2014, they retired and moved to South Carolina.
In retirement, Jeraldine and Ivon enjoyed traveling the East Coast and Canada in their RV making memories on the road. When they weren’t RVing, they were remodeling and furnishing their home in Greenville, SC – a beautiful Charleston-style abode.
Fittingly, Jeraldine passed away in the family room Ivon built when she took her last breaths. It was a beautiful fall day, filled with sunlight, turning leaves, and surrounded by those who loved her most.
May she forever rest in peace.
