It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jerel Bullock Jr., a beloved son, brother, and friend who left us far too soon. Jerel passed away at the age of 19 on Sunday, February 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and a love for life that touched everyone who knew him. Born April 10, 2005, he was the son of LaFonda Page and the late Jerel Bullock. He is also preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandra Page; grandfather, Willie Burnette Jr.; great-grandfathers, Norris Fowlkes and Delano H. Page; great-grandmothers, Mary Fowlkes and Anna Lou Page; godmother, Cynthia Griffin; uncle, Joseph Johnson; and Trimaine Reed (Maine Maine).
He worked as an electrician for Woodland Job Corps Center. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School and Elijah House Academy, he attended Reynolds Community College to study the Fundamentals of Culinary Arts. In March, he planned to attend Fortis College to study HVAC. He was also a devoted member of the Hope Ministry. Above all else, he enjoyed making money, eating good food, playing video games, and hanging out with his friends. His fun-loving personality and big heart made him a joy to be around.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834. Interment will be Private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
