Jeremy Gray

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jeremy Joseph Gray, beloved father, son, brother, and friend, on February 6, 2025, at the age of 49.
Born on August 30, 1975, in Oklahoma City, Jeremy was the son of [Richard Gray], now married to [Jackie Gray], and [Caroyln Larkin], now married to [Bill Larkin]. Jeremy graduated from Carl Albert High School, where he first developed a passion for history. After graduation, he attended the University of Central Oklahoma, where he earned a degree in history. Jeremy went on to teach history/geography, as well as coach football/track at Midwest City High School and Hefner Middle School. Later in life, Jeremy went on to work at Tinker AFB.
Jeremy was a devoted father to son, Shevrin Gray, and took immense joy in every moment spent together. They spent most of their time outdoors and often went camping at Camp Leon. His adventurous heart also matched his sense of humor. He was known for his thrill-seeking spirit. Whether on a motocross track, carving down a mountain on his snowboard, wakeboarding, or running in marathons, he lived for the thrill and excitement that each sport brought. His legacy of joy, courage, and love will continue to live on through the memories he leaves behind.
He is survived by his son, Shevrin Gray, his parents, Richard Gray (Jackie), Carolyn Larkin (Bill), brother, Mike Gray, and many other family members and friends who will miss him deeply.
A Celebration of his Life will be held at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home Chapel on February 17, 2025 at 1:00pm.
