Jeri Lynn (Wickman) Busch, 70, of Crystal Falls/Appleton passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 11, 2024, due to natural causes.
Jeri Lynn was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on Aug. 10, 1953, to the late Gerald and Carol (Mattson) Wickman. She graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1971. On Aug. 9, 1980, Jeri Lynn was married to Paul Busch at Norway Lake in Felch. As a young woman, Jeri Lynn enjoyed raising her 3 girls and running her own in-home childcare. In later years she found great pleasure working in the "Tot Spot" at Festival Foods in Appleton where she was best known as "Miss Jeri" by the many children who looked forward to seeing her during their grocery store playtime visits.
The simple things in life brought her the most joy. Jeri Lynn loved long car rides with her husband, Paul. Some of their favorite stops were the Horseshoe in Amasa and Sachs in Long Lake. She also enjoyed pontooning and riding on the side by side with Paul, her dear sisters, family, and friends. Working in her flower garden, bird watching, and playing with her newest little canine companion, Boo were some of her favorite ways to spend time.
Her grandchildren were her absolute pride and joy. She had a magical way of making each one of them giggle and feel so very special and adored. "Grandma" enjoyed baking muffins and cookies for her family and friends and if she left a batch in too long, she would just light up one of her vanilla scented candles for cover. All antique things, wicker and doilies were her decorative favorites.
Jeri Lynn was free spirited, fun-loving and silly with an almost effortless ability to laugh at herself when appropriate. Jeri Lynn was a hippie at heart and will be lovingly remembered for her unconditional love, kindness, and warm smile.
Jeri Lynn will be deeply missed by her husband of 44 years, Paul; 3 daughters, Carly (Dane) Belonga, Linsey Foskett, and Emily (Tabias) Wamsley; 8 grandchildren, Jayna, Loui, Ayden, Easton, Jaret, Kristopher, Elodie, and Hawkin; 4 sisters, Lori (Dave) Izzo, Patti (Jerry) Kingsbury, Mary (Jim) Carlson, and Shari Trepanier; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jeri Lynn's family would like to thank all of the special people that were able to get her to share her smile.
Visitation will be held at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave., from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024. There will also be a Celebration of Life held on August, 10th with formal details to come.
