Jeri L. Wells, 78, died January 13, 2025, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson. She was born October 8, 1946, in Hutchinson, to Everett H. and Margaret (Crouch) Wells.
Jeri was a graduate from Hutchinson High School. She worked as a receptionist for Disability Supports of the Great Plains. Jeri loved to attend church and listen to praise music. She enjoyed attending classes at The Clayworks. Jeri liked crafting, especially bead work, genealogy and playing Mahjong on her iPad. She cherished spending time outside with family and friends. Jeri was a member at The Father's House, Hutchinson.
Jeri is survived by: niece, Kelly (Dennis) Gewecke; sister-in-law, Bunny Wells; many great nieces and great nephews; roommate Dawn Thiel of Hutchinson; and many extended family members and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Charles Wells; and nephew Kale Wells.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary, with Pastor Quintin Moore officiating. Private family burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Disability Supports of the Great Plains, Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

I've taken care of Jeri for years even after I left we stayed in touch she was my jersey bear and I will miss her phone calls every day rest in peace my dear jer bear
