Jermy Putnam Obituary
Jermy "Wayne" Putnam, 49, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away at his home on August 22, 2025. Born January 7, 1976 in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of the late Rickey Eugene Putnam, Sr. and Bertha Sue Baxley Putnam and was also preceded in death by his sister Lovey Ann Putnam. Wayne was a loving dad and PawPaw, remembered as the most supportive man on Earth. He was a one-of-a-kind man who enjoyed drawing and time spent with his loved ones. To know Wayne was to love him, and it was easy to tell that his kids and grandkids were his light in this world. He will be missed dearly by those he leaves behind.
SURVIVORS: Fiancé: Jennifer Ingle of Kings Mountain, NC
Children: Chelsea Lee Sue Putnam (Thomas Bradley) of Chesnee, SC and Corey Isaiah Wayne Putnam of Spartanburg, SC
Siblings: Rickey Putnam, Jr. (Richelle) of Kings Mountain and Michael Shane Putnam of Grover, NC
Grandchildren: Zayden, Chloe, Roy, Jakobe, and Mason
Wayne is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews including Summer Putnam, Jada Gann (Kevin), David Putnam, Braylen, Kinley, and Brantley.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel with Elder Tom Robinson officiating
VISITATION: Wednesday, August 27, 2025, prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:50 A.M. in the parlor of Harris Funeral Home
INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
