Jerome Bernard Charles

Jerome Bernard Charles, 76 of Trenton departed this life on Friday, May 12, 2023. He was surrounded by the love of his family at Capital Health Regional Medical Center..
He was the first born of Samuel "Sammy Joe" Charles and Amy Charles in New Windthorpes, Antigua, West Indies. He married Leonora "Eurena" Charles on December 19th of 1970, this union was blessed with four children, Lois Holman, Gaynel Charles, Clif Charles and Roxane Charles-Loving. They settled in Trenton, New Jersey in 1972. He later retired from Griffin Pipe after 25 years then worked for New Jersey Manufacturers as a Security Guard. Jerome will be remembered for being an avid handyman; he loved working on various house projects and his car. He also loved to go on cruises with his wife and spend time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Amy; sister, Althea; nephew, Ira "Junie" Charles, niece, Renita "Gay" Charles, and son-In-Law Christopher Loving.
He is survived by his wife Leonora "Eurena"; four children, Lois, Gaynel, Clif (Lavonne), and Roxane; eleven grandchildren, Bashawn, Tyreke, Chelsea (Kenton), Shaquille, Kadesha, Annisa, Tianna, Erica, Trechelle, Clif Jr. and Cassidy; six great-grandchildren, Ariel, Ty'Vae, Yassir, Avianna, Jalen, and Bentlee; eight of his siblings Maudlyn, Philmore (Victoria), Robert (Ruth), Everton (Norma), Ira (Millicent), Theron (Sharon), Pauline (Greg), Enoch "Beverly" (Rosanne); and plenty of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
