Jerome R. DiGiovanni

Jerome DiGiovanni Jr. "Jerry", of Philadelphia, passed away suddenly on Saturday March 4, 2023. He was 55 years old. Born November 11, 1967 in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the Dolores E. (nee Rossi) DiGiovanni, and the late Jerome DiGiovanni.
Jerry brought joy to everyone he met. He loved music and could transform any space into a dance floor. He also enjoyed spending time at his shore home in Rehoboth Beach, DE with his family and many friends.
As the current Executive Director of Pennsylvania DECA, Jerry displayed unwavering kindness, support, and enthusiasm. Over the last two decades, his commitment and mentorship made an incredible impact on thousands of students in Pennsylvania. Under Jerry's leadership, PA DECA experienced unprecedented growth and student involvement.
Jerry graduated from Norristown Area High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Villanova University. He later attended Temple University and earned a Master's Degree in Education. He was a former Auditor/ Operations Manager at KPMG/Arthur Anderson LLC. Jerry also worked for Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Fox & Roach Realtors and was an active and very successful real estate investor.
In addition to his mother Dolores, Jerry is survived by his two brothers; Dean G. DiGiovanni (Jennifer) and Michael DiGiovanni (Genevieve), four nephews; Dean Christopher, Matthew Jerome, Chase, and Zachary, and two nieces; Kristen, and Gianna, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues.
Relatives and friends are invited to share in Jerry's Life Celebration on Monday March 13, from 8:15 AM to 10:15 AM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000. His Funeral Mass will begin at 11 AM at St. Helena's Church 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Mausoleum.
