Mr. Jerome “Jro” Crutcher, age 57, of Chapel Hill, TN, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Born in Columbia, TN he was a son of the late David Crutcher and Betty Louise McCord Haislip who survives. 

Jerome was a machine operator at the former Durango Boot factory in Chapel Hill after which he was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He enjoyed riding horses, his Harley Davidson motorcycle, operating a backhoe and he loved his dog. Chloe. Jerome was a graduate of Forrest High School in the Class of 1986.  Above all, he loved people and especially making people laugh. Jerome will be sorely missed not only by his family but also by his many, many friends.

Survivors are his mother, Betty Louise (Will) Haislip of Chapel Hill, TN; 2 daughters, Nakeisha Crutcher of Chapel Hill, TN and Drena Crutcher of Prospect, TN; a son, Adrian (Celia) Crutcher of Clarksville, TN; his brother, Michael (Michelle) Crutcher of Chapel Hill, TN; 7 grandchildren, Maurikeon Roberts, Nariyah Young, Matathyah Crutcher, Yoella Crutcher, Amasiyah Crutcher, Zebadyah Crutcher and Arabella Crutcher.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 10 AM – 1 PM. The funeral service will follow visitation at 1 PM in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Egypt Cemetery in Marshall County, TN.
