Jerome "Jerry" Holiver Larson, 84, of Tunnel City, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born on January 30, 1942, to Harold and Stella (Everson) Larson. On October 14, 1961, he married Yvonne "Nettie" Downing at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wilton. Jerry worked for Burlington Railroad for 30 years as a traveling mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, cooking fish, especially hunting, and walking through the woods on sunny fall days.

Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Yvonne "Nettie" Larson; 3 sons, Jack (Barb) Larson of La Crosse, Brian (Marie) Larson of Tunnel City, and Anthony Larson of Onalaska; daughter, Cynthia (Paul) Lien of Onalaska; grandchildren, 4 Erica Pike, Jasmine Larson, Eli Larson, and Michael Lien; 3 step grandchildren, Lee (Andrea) Peterson of Tomah, Jamie (Kenny) Ruiz of Dixon, MO, and Sarah Brooner of Tomah; 2 great-grandchild, Kaden Larson and Ella Pike; sister-in-law, Sandra (Robert) Noth of Tomah; brothers and sister-in-law, Sandy (Bill) Otto of La Crosse, Sharon (Ken) Oldenburg of Stoddard, Stephen (Bobbie) Larson of Tomah, Tom (Nancy) Larson of La Crosse, Ardeen Farmer of Tomah, Freida Hutchins of New Lisbon, and Dennis (Muriah) Larson of Oregon; dear friend, Jeff Noe; and many other family members and close friends.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Stella Larson; parents-in-law, Jay and Nettie Downing; siblings, Evelyn Oelke, Karon Halderman, Hazel Kelly and Jim Larson; brothers-in-law, John Farmer, Lavern Halderman, Williams Hutchins, and Gene Oelke; sister-in-law, Sharon Larson; niece, Tammy Farmer.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be given at www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to a charity of choice in Jerry's memory.
