Our hearts just broke when we learned of Jerry's passing. I (Lisa) met Jerry when he came to Westinghouse back in the 70's. Always friendly, smiling, and eager to help and inspire anyone he met. I (Rowena) met him when he joined 4th Street Baptist Church and was so active in different ministries there. He cared for me as if I was his own mother and I will never forget the love and concern he always showed towards me. We will forever miss him. Please accept our condolences and prayers to the family and everyone who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him

I worked with Jerry at Westinghouse. Like the obit said, he always had a smile for everyone. His wonderful personality made him a joy to work with; be it a joke or an inspiration from the Bible, all while trying to help us do a better job. Everybody loved To work with Jerry! Prayers & Blessings to his Family he always bragged on.
