Jerome Kendall "JK" Patrick

Jerome Kendall "JK" Patrick, age 84, a resident of Blaine, Kentucky, formally of Salyersville, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. "JK" was born August 15, 1941 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Harry Francis and Josephine Slone Patrick. Sister, Judy Conley, also preceded in death. "JK" is a graduate of Salyersville High School formally in Salyersville, Kentucky. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War prior to being honorably discharged. Returning stateside he became employed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Transportation until he retired. Those left to mourn includes sons, Jerome Keith Patrick and wife Lindsey of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Kenny Patrick and wife Valerie of Ashland, Kentucky, sisters, Regina Collins of Lowansville, Kentucky, Betty Patrick of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Erin Patrick, daughter of Kenny and Valerie Patrick, Jacob and Ella Patrick, son and daughter of Keith and Lindsey Patrick, companion, Barb Ratcliff of Blaine, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him. Funeral services for Jerome "JK" Patrick will be conducted Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Jerry Scott will deliver comforting words on the day of services. Interment will follow in the Bluegrass Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky. Military Rites will be conducted by the Magoffin County Chapter of Disabled American Veterans.The family will welcome friends Wednesday, August 27, 2025, after 6:00 PM and anytime prior to funeral services.
