Jerone Carter Ivy, 2, entered his heavenly home on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was born on November 10, 2020 to Demarius Ivy and Brittany Baynham Ivy in Tupelo.
Jerone was bubbly and always smiling. He was very friendly, loved to tell everyone "hey" and give them a fist bump. He was so full of energy. Jerone loved to dance and would start dancing anytime he heard music. In his short time here on earth, he brought so much joy to many,
Southern Funeral Home has the honor of serving his family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 at Southern Funeral Home with Brother Lee Dillard officiating. Burial will follow in Houston City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, December 29 from 5:00 until 7:00 at Southern Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers are Demarius Ivy, Mike Baynham, Germaine Pittman, and Samantha Turman.
He is survived by his parents, Demarius and Brittany Ivy of Houston; his sisters, Ella Claire Ivy and Caylee Alexis Gravat; his grandparents, Susie and Mike Baynham of Houston, and Germaine Pittman of Houston; his great-grandmother, Joyce Clark; his aunt, Tequila Ivy; his uncle, Tremaine "Skeet" Ivy; his great-aunts, Patty Turman and Connie Rucker (Charles); his great-uncle, Shelton Smith; and his "second family", Little Hoots Daycare.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Maxine Baynham, John Baynham and Ora Jean Kilgore.
