Jerry Arrington Obituary
Jerry passed away August 27 at 2:30am peacefully at the Tallulah Legacy Nursing Home after extended illness of dementia which ultimately ended his life at the age of 89.
Jerry is from Alexandria, Louisiana where he grew up and attended Bolton High School and later LSU. After two years of college Jerry decided to join the US Marine Corp. and attended flight school to become a Navy pilot. An injury ultimately led to an honorable discharge.
Jerry owned Loe Equipment Co as a John Deere Dealer in Tallulah, Louisiana and eventually in Newellton, LA for 32 years.
His hobbies were many but some were golfing, boating, travel, cooking and entertaining his friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved son.
He leaves behind his daughter Deirdre McGehee and husband Don McGehee; grandson Trip McGehee & wife Aaryn McGehee and great grandson Theo McGehee; sister Carolyn McCort.
He is also fondly known as Uncle Jerry to many nieces and nephews.
