I am so very sorry to learn of Jerry´s passing. In our many chats, he spoke so lovingly about his family. To Jess, Chris and their families, I send my deepest condolences. I will miss his checking in messages and conversations that sometimes went on for hours. God speed, Jer.

I worked with Jerry when we both served on Christiana Care´s Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and it´s Antimicrobial Subcommittee, both chaired by Dr. William Holloway. Jerry´s knowledge and expertise never ceased to amaze me! He excelled at his profession, and delighted in teaching others and sharing his expertise. I appreciated his wonderful outgoing personality, sense of humor, and professional collegiality over the several years we worked together. I will always remember him with great fondness. My thoughts and prayers are with Jerry´s family, friends and colleagues. Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences.

So sad to hear of Jerry´s passing. He was an ardent supporter of and guest lecturer in the inter professional ACT course for many years at Christiana Care, where he taught resident physicians, nurses, pastoral care counselors, social workers, pharmacists, laboratory science professionals and other members of interdisciplinary health care teams the key elements of ethical principles for human subjects research.
He was a trusted colleague whose influence will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

My deepest condolences. I only have good memories from our trips and meetings together. He was always with a smile and a quick with a joke. I will plant a tree on his memory, at his other home in Florida.

I met Jerry through our mutual participation in ARENA (PRIM&R) back in the late 90s. We served together on the leadership council and Jerry was a trusted, steady hand. I always appreciated his guidance and trusted his thinking on critical leadership matters. He was also a warm, friendly man who was always happy to talk shop over a martini. I haven't seen him in person since he received the ARENA Legacy Award - which he more than deserved. I'll miss him terribly. May his memory be a blessing to his kids and granddaughter (with whom he was smitten from the hour of her arrival!).
