Jerry Corley was born Friday, January 13, 1939 in Vandalia, Illinois the son of Frank E. and Lois G. (maiden name Burrus) Corley. He was raised on the family farm, attending Corley School and graduated with the Herrick High School Class of 1957. Jerry married Joyce Ann White on February 4, 1967 in New Hope Baptist Church, Tower Hill of which he and Joyce are still members. Jerry was a farmer and lifelong trucking owner/operator. He enjoyed being around his family and playing with his dog, BO. Jerry raised Charolais cattle and always had time for a "session" with a friend, whether young or old.
Jerry Corley is survived by his Wife: Joyce Corley of Tower Hill; Sons: Dale Corley (Jennifer) of Cowden and Jason Corley (Patti) of Altamont; three Granddaughters: Kaylee Davis, Madison Blaine, and Kadie Corley; two Grandsons: Hayden and Cash Corley; Brother: Merrill Corley (Barb) of Prescott, Arizona; Niece: Sherry Theodassiades (Costa); Great-Nephew: Eric Green; and Great-Niece: Kara Patrick. Jerry was preceded in death by his Parents and Nephew: Charles "Chuck" Corley.
The family is being served by Kennedy & Sons' Wallace-Carroll, Herrick
