Jerry was born on August 22, 1946 to the late Murray "M.G." and Laverne Creasy. He was married to the love of his life, Joan Glover Creasy, for 61 years. He lived a life of devotion, faith, and love for his family. A proud father, Jerry leaves behind two sons and four cherished grandchildren, who were his greatest joy. He was also a beloved brother to seven sisters and two brothers, holding tightly to the bonds of family throughout his life. Jerry's career as a construction road manager took him to 49 of the 50 states, where he worked tirelessly and honorably to provide for his family. His strong work ethic, fierce loyalty, and dependability were evident throughout his career which spanned over 50 years. Jerry also loved and served the Lord faithfully and with humility. He was an elder and deacon at Central Christian Church for many years.

If you knew Jerry well, you were most likely aware that he was a huge fan of Clint Eastwood, good 'ole western movies, his beloved red truck, the Price is Right, Southern gospel music, traveling, and girls' basketball. He was also known for his attention to detail in storytelling, and if that story involved travel, you can bet he would tell you the exact route he took to get to his destination! Jerry will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his love of family, and his example of what it means to live a life of service, grit, and strength.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was preceded by his parents, one brother, Dwight Creasy, and two sisters; Mary Jane Delaney and Diane Allsbrook. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Joan Diane Glover Creasy, two sons and two wonderful daughters in law; Leslie (Kim) Creasy and Dale (Jenny) Creasy, four grandchildren; Grace Creasy, Zach Creasy, Brooke (Derek) Starnes, and Cole (Bailey) Creasy, one brother, William (Karen) Creasy, and five sisters; Linda Faye Haimes, Jean (Tom) Needham, Barbara (Darrell) Clowes, Rachel (Kurt) Rushing, and Rose Sinclair. Jerry also leaves behind many other cherished family and friends.
