Jerry was born November 13, 1939, in Gratiot County, the son of Bertram and Ellen (Federspiel) French. Jerry was a member of the UAW and was a part of the World camping RV group after retiring from General Motors. He was an avid camper, loved old car shows and enjoyed watching Nascar. Jerry enjoyed playing cards and board games with his family, listening to old country music, and watching westerns.
He is survived by his children, Marlyn (Lisa) French; Lezlie (Steve) Anderson; Jerry (Pam) French; Michelle Kennedy and Neoma French; Seventeen grandchildren; many great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by parents; wife Edie (Richards) French; brother Dean French; sisters Doris Young and Donna Cole; son in law Jim Kennedy; two granddaughters; two great granddaughters.
Per Jerry's wishes a cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma.
