Born September 12, 1947, in Hamilton, AL. He is the Son of the late George Huiette and Lillie Mae Godsey Gann. He was the owner of Gann's Truck Service for many years. He served as Pastor of Ebenezer Church in the Vernon area. Jerry is survived by his wife, Patty Lou Souder Gann, daughter, Amy Sandlin of Guin, AL, son, Alan Smith of Winfield, AL, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Charlotte Beasley, Paulette Berryman, Lisa Joe Nix, brothers, Roger Gann, Ralph Gann, Alex Gann and James Gann. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tony Gann and sister Nancy Gann. A visitation will be held on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the chapel with services at 12:00 at the funeral home chapel with burial at West Alabama Memorial Cemetery in Gu-Win, AL.
