Jerry Kevin Glazner, born August 1, 1964, in New Braunfels, Texas, passed away peacefully at home, after battling cancer, surrounded by his family and friends on February 26, 2024.
Jerry spent over two decades of his life giving back to his community by raising funds for the AIDS Outreach Center, children's charities, food banks and other Fort Worth charities. As a lover of music, and a foodie, he enjoyed traveling with friends and family to visit faraway places to experience the beauty he found in everything. He loved visiting new places, meeting peoples from other cultures and making new friends from around the world. His kind and generous demeanor always shone through his infectious smile and quick wit. He never met a stranger and was loved and respected by all his friends and neighbors who will feel his absence profoundly.
He is preceded in death by his companion, Raymond Gill, his brother, Kenneth Glazner and his father, Bobby Glazner. He is survived by his Mother, Clara Glazner Matthew;, Sisters, Pam Nelson, Cindy Glazner, Melinda Thorburn and Kristy Matthews; brothers, Bob Basinger and Lance Matthews; many cousins, nieces and nephews, all of Ardmore, Ok.
The family will have a private service.
Please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or St Jude Children's Hospital in Jerry's name in lieu of flowers.

Jerry was a sweet, well-behaved little boy who lived in the same neighborhood as my family. He and my youngest son were close in age, attended the same elementary school and were friends. I will always remember Jerry.
