Jerry Gray Sr

Jerry E. Gray Sr., 86, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away on November 18, 2025. Born on June 27, 1939, in Fremont, OH, Jerry was known to all as a supportive, loving, generous with his time, and spirited individual.

Jerry dedicated his life to his family and his work. He married his beloved wife Judy on April 4, 1959, and they built a beautiful life full of memories. Jerry worked as a manager in warehouse distribution, showing his dedication until his retirement in 1999. But work was just one facet of Jerry's life. With a cold beer and a cigar in hand, he loved to spend his time boating, fishing, and playing golf. He was a fervent supporter of The Ohio State Buckeyes, and he requested that everyone wear their Ohio State Gear to celebrate his life.

Jerry was also a man of faith and very active in his church. He was always grateful to those who offered their help and support, and his generosity was evident in his actions. Family meant the most to Jerry, especially his grandkids and great-grandchildren. His love for his family was unending, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his children, Christine (Scott) Miller of Ostrander, Ohio, Cindy (Steve) Barr of Bowling Green, Ohio, Jerry (Sue) Gray, Jr. of Delaware, Ohio, Patrick (Robin) Gray of Perrysburg, Ohio, grandchildren, Lindsey (Jeremy) Lozier, Brittany (Josh) Pederson, Scott (Holly) Miller, Ashley (Eric) Diamond, Kristen (Dean) Wood, Dylan (Lexi) Gray, Chandler (Brittany) Gray, Carrigan (Chase) Gore, Phillip Torrey, Adrian (Matthew) Heilman, Zachany Gray, Ethan Gray, Reagan Gray and Adam Gray, great grandchildren, Delaney, Kenley, Indie, Aria, Hudson, Austin, Sienna, Jett, Madiline, Theodore, Wesley, Owen, Avery, and one on the way! His sister-in-law, Sandy Gray of Clyde, Ohio also survives.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Rolland and Ruth Gray, wife, Judy, grandson, Nicholas Leonard Gray, sister, Janet Miller, and brothers, Robert and Theodore Gray.

Visitation for Jerry will be 4-7pm, Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Auxter-Recker Funeral Home, 218 South Main Street, Clyde, Ohio, 43410. Funeral service will be conducted 11am, Monday, November 24, 2025 at the funeral home. Rev. Dave Woodyard will officiate.
