Jerry Hallcox, 80, of Seymour, Tennessee, passed away on March 17, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.
Jerry was born to Rowdan and Thelma Hallcox on August 23, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland. Jerry had fought many illnesses over the several years but kept his sense of humor and sharp wit until the end.
Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Judy, his oldest son, Jarrett and daughter in law Kolloia, and grandchildren Kaylie, Jetta, and Kolton, and his youngest son Justin. He is also survived by his sister, Delilah Matthews, cousin, Jonelle Gebauer, as well as several nieces and nephews. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Rowdan and Thelma, and brothers Mack, James, and Larry.
A visitation for Jerry will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Berry Highland South, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920 with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM A graveside service will occur Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Berry Highland South Cemetery, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association.
