Jerry Heffington

Jerry Lynn Heffington, 80, of Hixson, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. Jerry was a member of Mountain Creek Church of Christ. In her earlier years, she was a hairstylist. She enjoyed traveling with her brother. Jerry helped raise four generations of her family who treasured her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Rose Pace; husband, Jimie Heffington; siblings, Joy McNabb (David), Jeanette Payne (Joe), Mary Chambers, Ernest Pace (JoAnn), Allen Pace; grandson, Josiah Wandell; mother-in-law, Helen Heffington and sister-in-law, Betty Heffington.
Survivors are her children, Vandy Rutherford and Jimie Heffington, Jr. (Amanda); grandchildren, Roseanna Miller (Tim), Nikki Groce (Craig), Adam Heffington; great grandchildren, Haiven Camenisch (Cameron), Tommy Miller (Skylar), Tallen Miller, Cassie Rutherford, Cherish Groce, Asher Heffington; great great grandchildren, Leighton Camenisch, Laela Camenisch; sister, Darlene Adams; several nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Gary Massey officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
