Jerry Howard Obituary

Jerry Howard, affectionately known as "Harley," aged 77, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Southaven. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road, East, Southaven, MS 38672) is in charge of arrangements.
After serving his country with honor in the United States Navy, Jerry went on to build a long and successful career, retiring as a Slot Manager from the Horseshoe Casino.
Jerry lived life on his own terms. He had a deep love for the open road, often found riding his Harley with the wind at his back and a smile on his face. Whether he was enjoying a fine cigar, sipping a perfectly mixed martini, or teeing off for a round of golf or tennis, Jerry embraced every moment with passion and joy. To those who knew him, Jerry was more than a friend-he was family. His stories, laughter, and generous heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Harley is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Catherine Lynn Howard of Horn Lake, MS; his daughters, Caroline Spees of San Diego, CA, Elizabeth Dillard and Christina Mayo; his nine grandchildren, Ryan Spees, Hannah Spees, Olly Dillard, Lola Dillard, Emerson Tompkins, Everett Tompkins, Eleanor Tompkins, Theodora Brown and Ophelia McLemore; his sister Jewel Mabury of Jefferson City, MO; and a host of nieces, cousins, nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie E. Howard and Mary Jane Curry.
