Jerry Kuhn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Caruth-Hale Funeral Home on Apr. 17, 2025.
Jerry Don Kuhn departed this life on April 14, 2025, at the age of 74, with his daughters, Angela Echols and Memory Swarts, by his side.
Jerry was a retired police sergeant from the Benton Police Department, where he had an unparalled work ethic and rarely took a day off work. On his days off, he consistently worked several off-duty jobs to provide for his family. Jerry never met a stranger. Everywhere he went, he made instant connections. He enjoyed living in the "country" as he called it, and you could always find him either fishing in his pond, hunting on his property, or driving around the property on his side-by-side killing snakes out of the pond and creek, to keep the area safe for his friends and family.
Jerry was born on May 9, 1950, and was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Ocie Kuhn. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Kuhn (JoAnn), Ronald Kuhn (Penny), and Roger Kuhn.
He is survived by a loving family, who he cherished above all else, including his daughters, Angela Echols (David) and Memory Swarts (Avery), along with the mother of his children, Valerie Kuhn, and his grandsons, Christian Echols and Dawson Jackson. Jerry also leaves behind his brother Paul Kuhn (Karen), and sisters, Brenda Buzzard (Buddy), Tammie Murders (Jeff), Tricia Warren (Buster), and many beloved nieces, nephews, and close friends, whom he treated as family.
Jerry did not want any funeral services, but he would want everyone to know that he is no longer suffering in his earthly body and that he is celebrating in heaven with his friends and family who predeceased him.
