Jerry William Laurito, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2025, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, at the age of 74. Born on February 14, 1951, in Easton, Pennsylvania, Jerry was the beloved son of the late William and Jennie Laurito.

Educated in his hometown, Jerry was a proud graduate of Easton High School. He dedicated himself to a career as a mechanic for Mercedes-Benz, a role that allowed him to combine his passion for precision with his love of automobiles. His work was renowned for its excellence and meticulous attention to detail before he retired.

Jerry's life was also defined by his love of restoring and tinkering with old motorcycles, with a special fondness for British bikes. This passion for machinery extended to his enjoyment of trap shooting and sporting clays shooting with the Polk County Gun Club, pursuits that brought him joy and camaraderie throughout his life. Jerry also enjoyed occasionally panning for gold in the many creeks and streams that meander through western North Carolina.

Above all else, Jerry was a devoted family man. He leaves behind his loving wife of over 38 years, Judy Laurito, and his cherished son, Eric Laurito. Jerry is also survived by his brother, Randy Laurito, sister-in-law, Carol Ventimiglia Kelly, and nephews: Andrew Kelly and Jacob Kelly, who together will forever treasure the memories of a kind-hearted and affable man.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Kelly.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories of Jerry at the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Jerry will be remembered for his warm spirit, his dedication to his craft, and the love he shared with those fortunate enough to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, skill, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
