Raymond George Laurito passed away on July 10, 2025, in South Jordan, just days before his 87th birthday.

He was born July 23, 1938, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to Nick and Helen (Morrone) Laurito. He was one of five siblings and is survived by his brother Nick. He was preceded in death by his siblings Rose, Helen, and Joe. He is survived by his wife Suzanne; daughters Rachelle (Shelly), Rebecca (Becky), and Ruth; 15 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David and his first wife, Deanna.

Ray earned an associate degree from Penn State in 1962, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1965, and a master's degree in large-scale computing devices from the University of Pennsylvania.

He worked 30 years at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), contributing to U.S. Navy defense systems, including software and system development, testing, and modernization.

Ray married Deanna Jane Davis on June 10, 1960, and together they raised four children: David (deceased) Rachelle (Andy) Griffin, Rebecca (Kevin) Chase, Ruth Laurito (Chris), and David Laurito (deceased). After Deanna's passing in 2004, Suzanne Fitzgerald danced into life and he married her on May 29, 2009. He gained a bonus son, Tony (Marissa) Davis. In later years, Ray and Suzanne enjoyed square dancing, ballroom dancing, and Spanish classes and served as guest service missionaries at the LDS Conference Center.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12120 S 1300 W, Riverton, Utah.

Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery, 10055 S State Street, Sandy, Utah.

The family would like to thank Brightstar Home Care, Riverway Assisted Living and memory care, & Intermountain Home Care & Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Ray was especially fond of his caregiver, Michael, his best buddy.
