Jerry Lee McBryar, 76, of Trenton, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Jerry’s wife and family were the love of his life. He was married to his devoted wife, Stella McBryar, for 51 years, and cherished his family dearly. The only thing stronger than his love for them was his unwavering faith in the Lord. Jerry’s life’s mission was to share the Gospel and win as many souls to Christ as he could.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. A faithful member of White Oak Baptist Church, Jerry lived out his beliefs daily through his words and actions.

He is survived by his wife, Stella McBryar; daughters, Kelly (Heath) Pemberton, Buffy (Rusty) McBryar, Karen (Terry) Robinson, and Amanda (James) Turner; grandchildren, Jasmine (Colton) Sears, Jacob (Sarah) McBryar, Paige (Jonathan) Archie, Lerhea (Steven) Hood, Rachael (Dusty) Shrader, Anthony Holland, Chandler (Patrick) Macoon; great-grandchildren, Gage Sears, Austin Sears, Willow McBryar, Braxton Archie, Tinley Archie, Trace Archie, Anzley Hood, Hadley Hood, Talon Hood, Dawson Hood, Lincoln Shrader, Jack Shrader, Nila Macoon; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Bertha Holder McBryar; and siblings, Imogene Tate, Bernice Smith, Charlotte Fossett, Theodore “Mac” McBryar, Joe McBryar, and Eddie “Cowboy” McBryar.

A funeral service to honor Jerry’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, at White Oak Baptist Church, with Brother Darrell Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the White Oak Baptist Church Youth Program. Memorial donations may be made to White Oak Baptist Church, P.O.
