Jerry Lee Parker Sr., age 75, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024, at 8:33 PM in
Oklahoma City, OK. Born in Batesville, Arkansas in 1948, Jerry led a life filled with passion
and adventure, leaving a lasting legacy for his family and friends.
Jerry graduated from Del City High School in 1966. He briefly attended the University of
Central Oklahoma before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly
served his country.
Jerry had a love for money, cars, horses, and women. His enthusiasm for these interests
was infectious, and he enjoyed sharing his passions, creating many unforgettable
memories with those around him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Winbern Parker; his mother, Frances Parker; his
uncle, William Asay; his sister, Jo Savage; and his nephew, Jeffery Brown.
Jerry leaves behind his sister, Nellie (Sissy) Bleistein, and her husband, Ed; his two sons,
Jerry Parker Jr. and wife Amy of Yukon, and Todd Parker and wife Sabrina of Oklahoma
City; his daughter, Becki Pitchford of Guthrie; and his grandchildren, Christopher Parker,
Raymond Parker, Avorie Parker, Willow Parker, Jessica Cartwright and husband Daniel,
Jason Pitchford, and Austin Pitchford. He is also survived by his nephews, Larry Brown
and wife Wendy, and James Savage, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, friends,
and extended family who will miss him dearly.
A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on June 7th at Nick Harroz-Midwest
City Community Center. Family and friends are invited to share their stories and
remember the remarkable man who lived life to the fullest.
Rest in peace, Jerry Lee Parker Sr. You will be deeply missed.
