Jerry L. Parsons, age 66 of Moundsville, WV died Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Astoria Place, Barnesville, OH.
He was born April 28, 1958 in New Martinsville, WV the son of Gary D. and Joann Campbell Parsons of Barnesville.
He was a graduate of John Marshall High School; a retired employee of AEP Mitchell Plant; a Methodist by faith; and he loved fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.
His wife, Terry Lynn Parsons preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Carrie (Joseph) Parise of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Jaxson Parise and Thalia Parise; two step-children, Chris Chambers of NY and Eric Daugherty of Cameron, WV; a brother, Dean (Billie) Parsons of NC; and two nephews, Garrett and Afton Parsons.
Family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-7pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Jefferson Ave., Moundsville where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30pm with Pastor Rodney Hubbs officiating.
Emtombment in Riverview Cemetery Mausoleum, Moundsville.

A FUN LOVING AND HARD-WORKING MAN ENJOYED LIFE TO THE FULLEST
ALWAYS SMILING AND LAUGHING. JERRY AND I DID ALOT OF FISHING AND HUNTING TOGATHER. THE WOODS BEHINE HIS HOUSE WHERE WE HUNTED ALOT AND OF COARSE DOWN IN THE BOTTOM BY THE RIVER TOO. BE HONEST AND HAVE ALOT OF FUN TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED.
