Jerry Dean Pingleton, age 69, passed away Monday December 16, 2024, at his residence in Berea, KY. He was born February 27, 1955, in Garrard County, KY to the late George Raymond and Carrie Ada Parsons Pingleton. Jerry was an accomplished heavy equipment operator working until he retired for The Allen Company. He was a gun enthusiast, enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, and the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Jerry was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents Jerry was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Pingleton.
He is survived by his children, Anthony Shane Pingleton (Connie Utzig) of Berea, KY, Stephanie D. Pingleton, two brothers, David Pingleton (Judy) of Berea, KY, Donnie Pingleton (Addie) of Cartersville, KY, one sister, Debra Pingleton of Lexington, KY, five grandchildren, Kayla Marie Vann (BJ), Anthony Blake Pingleton, John Clayton McFadden, Ashton Marie Frazier, and Micah Seven Edwards.
Funeral services will be 12:30PM Friday December 27, 2024 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Bro. Stevie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Donnie Pingleton, David Pingleton, Wesley Pingleton, Daniel Pingleton, John Leigh, and Theron Johnson. Visitation will be 11:00AM – 12:30PM December 27, 2024 at the funeral home.
