Jerry DeWitt Raley, 81, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee and formerly of Sheffield, Alabama passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. Jerry was born October 24, 1943, in Cleveland to the late Graham DeWitt Raley and Aileen Dixon Raley.
Jerry and Gula were married at Westmore Church of God on June 19, 1976 and would have celebrated 49 years of marriage this year. Jerry's family was his greatest pride and joy. He retired from Maytag (Magic Chef) after 43 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Gula Levenduski Raley, one daughter, Leslie (Dustin) Stevison, two grandchildren,Drake Weathers and Brody Stevison all of Cleveland; sister in law Deltah Levenduski of Hagerstown, Maryland.
He is also survived by two double first cousins, Bobbi (Joe Whit) Miller Of Killen, Alabama and Ron (Susan) Dixon of Hixson, Tennessee; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
His family will receive friends from 3pm until 5pm on Friday, April 18, 2025 in the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland,TN 37311. A service to celebrate the life of Jerry D. Raley will follow at 5:00 pm.
