Jerry C. Riggins, a beloved husband of Susan Riggins of 34 years, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 21st, 2024, in his home surrounded by close family.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Clifford and Edna Riggins. A graduate of Easley High School, Jerry served in the US Army, and retired from Greenville Technical College, in 2018, as a maintenance engineer where he loved serving his community.
Jerry was an active outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his grandson Logan, and dote on his beautiful granddaughter as she competed in pageants. He loved anything to do with nature and spending time with his Boykin Spaniel, Boodroe. Jerry will be missed daily by his family, yet they have peace knowing they will see him again in heaven. They know he will be excited to show them the best fishing spots.
In addition to his wife Susan, Jerry is survived by his son Chris and daughter-in-law Crystal of Easley; and his two grandchildren Logan (18) and Rylee (15).
