JERRY SHACKLE
Jerry Harold Shackle, age 90, of Versailles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Capital Region Medical Center, Jefferson City, Missouri. Jerry was born September 6, 1932 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a son of Raymond Joseph and Fama Regina (Peterson) Shackle.
He was united in marriage to Marnette Lorene Kleckner and together they shared many happy years, as of April 26, 1959, of marriage.
Jerry was raised in Minnesota. He served his country proudly in both the Marine Corps and the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a mail handler for the United State Postal Service in Minneapolis, Minnesota and retired to Missouri in 1987. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on his farm. He was a faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church International (Church On The Move) in Sedalia, Missouri.
Survivors include his wife, Marnette Shackle of the home; a son, Dale Shackle of Versailles, Missouri; a brother, Larry Shackle of Minneapolis, Minnesota and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sandra Shackle; a son, Doug Shackle; two brothers, Ray Shackle and Bobby Shackle and a sister, Marie Nagel.
A memorial service was held at the United Pentecostal Church International (Church On The Move), Sedalia, Missouri.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
