Massena: Jerry M. Sharlow, 70, of Roosevelt Road, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home while under the care of Hospice.
Jerry was born on February 17,1955 in Massena, NY, the son of the late Clifford P. and Jeannette (Gervais) Sharlow. He graduated from Massena High School in 1973 and then attended Canton ATC receiving an Electrical Degree. Jerry worked as a Lineman for the New York Power Authority retiring as a Line Supervisor in 2010 after 38 years on the job.
Jerry married Patricia Collyer on June 12, 1992 in Colton, NY. He was a member of the Local 2032 Electrical Union and enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.
Jerry is survived by his spouse, Patricia of Massena; his children, Michelle Newberry of St. Louis, Julie (Nathan) Dold of Oakfield, NY and Patricia Sharlow of Cadyville, NY; his step-children, Jennifer (Chris) Fredericks of Malone and Rebecca (Bryan) Garrant of Massena; his grandchildren, Jacob Newberry, Brayden Dold, Grace and Josh Fredericks, Lydia and Kalvin Garrant; two great-grandchildren, Farrah and Finn Fredericks; two brothers, Steve Sharlow of North Lawrence and Stewart Sharlow of Victoria, Australia.
He was predeceased by his parents and his step-mother, Hazel Sharlow as well as a brother, Tom Sharlow.
There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
