Jerry Stacks Obituary

He is survived by his wife, Linda Stacks; his daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jeff Mills; his son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Kelly Stacks; four grandchildren, Samantha, Alyssa, Josh and Griffin; and one sister, Carolyn Mayo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Elizabeth Stacks; three brothers, Howard, Ray and Dewitt; and four sisters, Louise, Ethel, Sue and Joyce; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his family, Jerry found his love in music. He played guitar and loved country, gospel and bluegrass, especially if it was live music. He drove an 18-wheeler for about 30 years and retired from Harris Teeter.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., February 15, 2025 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC, 29721.
His funeral and burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster SC, 29720.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the building fund at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2245 Old Camden Monroe Highway, Lancaster SC, 29720; or Agape Hospice through the Carnation Foundation at https://carnationfoundation.org/patient-fund/.
