Dr. Jerry Stubblefield of New London, NC passed peacefully at his residence on Monday August 7th, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Triad Crematorium Friday August 18th at 2 p.m. Full obituary can found on their website.

Dr. Stubblefield was my childhood dogs vet through college. He was always so kind, he even kept a shelter dog I had just adopted overnight for free to fix something the shelter did to her during surgery. 20 years later and I have yet to find a vet that can hold a candle to him. He was such a caring person and will be missed. Prayers for him and his loved ones.

I worked with Dr. Stubblefield at the coliseum animal hospital back in 1976. I was in a program where I would come work there and get credit for a school program called health careers. After graduating I went to Central Carolina in Sandford for veterinarian assistant. Condolences to his family. He was an awesome Veterinarian and person. I learned a lot from him.

Sheila & I are so sorry to hear the news. We had so many great memories at Sedgefield Country Club, Dinners & party's. We was our long term Veterinarian.
