Jerry Preston Thomas III affectionately known as "Preston". Passed away August 15, 2025 due to a tragic accident that took place August 8, 2025. Preston was born November 16,1991 in Saginaw, Michigan. He lived his life to the fullest. Preston was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He had many passions in his life. But nothing compared to his love of being a dad. He loved being a dad more than anything in life. His boys were his whole world. Preston also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working out, listening to music, hanging out with friends but most of all being with his family.

Preston was a hard-working and dedicated person; which led him to a successful career for 11 years as an iron worker. He was a proud member of the Ironworkers Union, Local 25.

In keeping with Preston's generous spirit, and giving personality, Preston had decided to be an organ and tissue donor several years ago. His gifts have given life to many others, and he would be grateful that his wishes were respected. Preston's selflessness, loving heart was shown through his gorgeous and infectious smile, which will aways be remembered. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

Preston is survived by his beautiful sons, Axton Chrystian Thomas and Atlas Crew Thomas; his parents, Kevin and Michelle (Ortega) Hayes, and Jerry Thomas Jr; his dedicated and loving brother and sister Chaston Hayes and Braliegh Hayes; special friend and mother to his boys, Hannah Ramos. Preston cherished his special bond with his grandmother, Joyce Blake and also his Godmother; Sherri Eurich.

Honoring Preston's wishes cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
