Beloved father, brother and friend passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at HealthSource Saginaw. Age 67 years. Bob was born on July 20, 1958, to Robert and Rosezella Vorce in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He married Lorraine Baily on March 31, 1995. She predeceased him on August 27, 2024. Bob had a passion for walking. He would walk for hours when he could – the "Forest Gump" of Saginaw. He loved bowling and became a member of the 300 Club. He was very proud of his 300 ring. He enjoyed watching wrestling for many years. When he was a young man, he would see live matches at Cobo Hall with family. He loved his sports, Tiger baseball, Lions and U of M football. Bob had a passion for Rock and Roll and other types of music and could always "name that tune". Bob shared his passion for travel with his wife. They enjoyed traveling to Las Vas and Virginia. Their favorite places in Michigan were Grand Haven, Paradise and White Fish Point. They enjoyed going to parks, gardens and county fairs in the summer months.

Following his stroke, his new "ride" was a wheelchair. He developed a passion for coloring, doing word search puzzles, reading people and sports magazines. He enjoyed the many activities that HealthSource had to offer, attending church and singing hymns. Most of all, he enjoyed and cherished the friendships he developed over the 9 years he lived there.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his son, Troy and his daughter Gloria; his sisters, Linda and Carol; many nieces and nephews; lifelong friend and "brother", Greg and Bea Culp; many other cherished friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Kathy Vorce and Judy Roberts; one brother, Robert G. Vorce, a nephew, Michael Vorce; his kitty, Boots "Buttercup".

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff, especially the activities staff, of HealthSource Saginaw for the loving and compassionate care given to Bob over the past 9 years.

Honoring Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private Celebration of his and Lorraine's lives will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Activity Department of HealthSource Saginaw. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.
