CORDELE - Jerrylee Wagoner died Monday, November 25, 2024, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. The family will have a memorial service at Shift @ The River Ministries, 191 Ingram Blvd Cordele, Georgia 31015 on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. The family requests that attendees wear the color purple in honor of Mr. Jerrylee.
Jerrylee was born in Cordele, Georgia, to Jerry Harrington and the late Billie Jo Giddons Harrington. He was employed by Bailey Harris Lawn Care. He was a member of Shift @ The River Ministries and Celebrate Recovery of Cordele. He was known as an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his wife: Crystal L. Wagoner, of Vienna; his children: Brook Wagoner of Tifton and Destiny Wagoner of Cordele; his step-children: Paul Merritt and his wife Madison of Beaufort, SC, and Breanna Wade of Cordele; his father and step-mother: Jerry Harrington and his wife Cindy. Also surviving are his siblings: Allen Cornette of Pitts, Corey Bennett of Cordele, Renay Borden of Cordele, Gary McDaniel and his wife Dennette of Cordele, Wayne McDaniel and his wife Emily of Cordele, Brandi Dean and her husband Alton of Cordele, Sara Sumner and her husband Matt of Cordele, April Womack Chiaverini of Statesboro, Lynn Barefoot and her husband Melvin of Cordele; and his mother-in-law: Sharon Ann Butler of Vienna. Jerrylee loved his special niece and nephews: William Cross, Gavin Dean, Logan Bennett, Cody Hudson, and Shelby Garbett. His grandsons: Gunner and Princeton survive their grandfather as well as his dear friends: Olivia Mensching and employer Bailey Harris. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
