Jerzy J Jachimczyk

Jerzy Jan Jachimczyk, 70, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away on September 4, 2025 in Titusville, Florida after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease.

Jerzy was born in Rozogi Poland to Jan and Irena (Kolimaga) Jachimczyk on June 12, 1955. He married Yukuko Ito on November 15, 1975 in Szczytno Poland. After his required military service, Jerzy immigrated to the United States from Poland in 1981 and settled with his family in Worcester, MA. Jerzy built a wonderful home for his family in Southbridge, MA. He worked as a machinist for Wyman-Gordon for many years before starting his own business. He loved the sport of judo and won many competitions, including a National Championship in his division in 1987. He was actively involved in his community, serving as a town councilor and volunteering in his church and his community. Jerzy was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed sharing his testimony and faith in Jesus Christ with others. He enjoyed family history, growing fruit trees, scuba diving, spear fishing, reading religious books, historical documentaries, Polish candies, walking with his dog in the woods, and spending time with his family.

Jerzy is preceded in death by his parents, Jan and Irena Jachimczyk.

Jerzy is survived by his wife Yukuko, daughters Julia Yuka (Aaron) Ruell, Ewa Jachimczyk, Emi (Brandon) Grimshaw, and Elizabeth (Skylar) Stilwell, his sister Halina Antczak, brother Adam Jachimczyk, three nephews and nine grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 September 10, 2025, with funeral services held at 11:00 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Titusville Florida (3000 South St, Titusville, FL 32780). Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Titusville, Florida. Arrangements are by North Brevard Funeral Home.
