Jesse Robert Housley, born on October 13, 1967 in Fullerton, CA, was a man who lived his life to the fullest, always guided by an adventurous spirit and an ambitious heart. With his creative mind and empathetic soul, Jesse was not just a service attendant in name; he was a true servant to those he loved and those who loved him. He spent 10 memorable years as a service attendant, dedicating his time and energy to the community of Buckley, Washington, where he resided for 24 years. He was a beacon of light, a pillar of strength, and most importantly, a beloved father. As Ralph Waldo Emerson rightly said, "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well." Jesse embodied this quote, living his life with purpose and passion.
Our beloved Jesse was a man of many interests; he was as versatile as an intricate symphony, with each of his hobbies reflecting a different note of his personality. He found joy in the thrill of motorcycle riding and dirt biking, the serenity of camping, and the energy of attending concerts. Jesse was passionate about music, especially classic rock and roll, a passion he expressed not only by attending concerts but also by playing his guitar and drums. He loved NASCAR racing, watching his favorite daytime shows, and spending quality time with friends. Jesse was a man who valued hard work and was known for his strong work ethics. He was a master conversationalist, always ready with a witty remark or a thoughtful insight. His loyalty and sense of humor were cherished by all who knew him.
Jesse was the best father ever to his daughters, Kayla and Shasta Housley, and his step-daughter, Tonya Montgomery. He was very smart, well driven, and a cool guy to converse with. His friends and family were his world, and he often said that what mattered most to him was spending time with the people he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Karen Housley. Jesse's life was a testament to the quote by Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Jesse left an indelible mark on the hearts of those he touched, making them feel loved, cherished, and valued.
