Jesse "Chuy" Martinez, 61, of Stamford passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2025 in the Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in St. John's Methodist Church with Pastor Paul Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home.
Chuy was born October 9, 1964 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Lucas and Florencia (Reyna) Martinez. He married Amilia "Molly" Pardo on January 4, 1992 in Anson, Texas. He was a very hard working man. He worked at Continental Quarries as a Loader Operator for 17 years.
He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Cook outs with family and friends were some of his favorite times. Chuy had several interests including fishing, working on old cars, watching wrestling, and of course he was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He was extremely talented in playing the accordion and enjoyed playing music.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Johnny Martinez, Isidro Alaniz, and Arnulfo Martinez; two sisters Bonita Martinez and Josie Martinez.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Amilia "Molly" Pardo Martinez of Stamford; Children Timothy John Pardo and Samantha of Abilene, Jessica Martinez and Harvey Herrera, Tiffany Lozano and Steve, Kimberly Chavez and Armando, Kyle Young and Naomi Conway all of Stamford; eighteen grandchildren; one brother Freddy Martinez of Purcell, OK; two sisters Mary Martinez of Weatherford and Petra Salas of Ropesville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
