Jessie was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 17, 1975, the daughter of Alan and Katherine (Bartels) Robinson. She attended Albion College. Photography and writing were two of her passions. Jessie was known for her enormous heart and deep appreciation for life's simple beauties. Flowers, rocks, and feathers held special meaning for her and reflected her gentle, curious spirit. She was a huge animal lover and was always with her service dog Knossa.
Jess is survived by her beloved son, Gavin Kister; and former husband, Gerald Gutek.

So sorry for the loss of Jessica. We had some good and bad times together in my time in Michigan. This picture is from when she came to get me in New Orleans.
