Jess and Baby Dee'Atrics Damon Hooker Jr. were both called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Thursday, June 9, 2022; at the age of 27 years.
The daughter of Candi LaBelle, Jess was born on May 10, 1995 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a CNA for many years, taking compassionate care of individuals in the comfort of their homes. Jess was a member of Life Church. She enjoyed family cookouts, shopping, getting her nails done, and driving. Above all, Jess cherished the time spent with her family, especially her children, nieces, and nephews. She will be fondly remembered for being the family protector, being loud and having a good time.
Surviving Jess are her children: Sariyah Brown and James Brown III (their father: James Brown II); her mother: Candi LaBelle (Crispina Rodriguez); her father figure: Carl Wardell; her sisters and brothers: Vanessa Gomez, Alexandria LaBelle, Destinie Wardell, Carl Wardell Jr., Ste'von Mirelez, Luchiano Mirelez, Amilliana Mirelez, Alexis Gomez, Kamryn Gomez, Maddix, Lilly, Hannah; her very dear grandpa: Gary LaBelle; and her significant other: Dee'Atrics Damon Hooker. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Jess was preceded in death by friend: Tyrone Simmons Jr. "Tip".
Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Rev. Jonathan Herron will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral chapel on Monday.
