It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jessie Anderson, age 79, of Round Lake Beach, Illinois, who departed this life peacefully on October 14, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on September 21, 1946, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Jessie lived a life marked by kindness, love and faith. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a proud grandfather, and a loyal friend. Those who knew him will remember his warm smile, gentle demeanor, and unwavering support for all who were close to him.
Jessie is survived by wife of 50 plus years, Phyllis Anderson, his children Cindy (Brian) Flores, Jonathan (Fabiola) Anderson, Tony Floyd and Eric Floyd, his grandchildren Ryan Flores, Nora Flores, Emily Flores, Jonathan Sean Anderson, Jay Anderson, and Adamari Anderson, his brother George Lynch, his sisters Betty Jones-Jackson, Dorothy Jones, and Angela Griffith and his numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and George Lynch.
Jessie dedicated over 25 yrs to his career with North American Herb and Spice in Lake Forest Illinois. His colleagues and peers deeply respected him for his integrity, work ethic, and his willingness to help others.
Jessie loved nothing more than his family. Jessie's passions were fishing and football. Jessie's most treasured moments are spending time with his family, Sunday dinners, laughter around the table, and quiet afternoons.
A memorial service to honor Jessie’s life will be held on Monday October 20, 2025 from 4:00--6:00 pm at Treasure Seekers Church of God 25 Forest Ave. Fox Lake, IL 60020. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
