Jessie Doyle

Jessie (DeMonaco) Doyle of Hicksville, NY, passed on March 17, 2025, at the age of 94. Jessie was born on August 25, 1930, in Hicksville, NY, the daughter of the late Frank DeMonaco and Mary (Millevolte) DeMonaco. She graduated from Hicksville High School, Class of 1948, as a member of the National Honor Society and a prominent student-athlete. She lettered in basketball, field hockey, volleyball, and ping pong (undefeated). After attending Secretarial School, Jessie devoted more than 20 years to Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation in Bethpage as a corporate secretary. She was also deeply committed to preserving the history of her hometown, serving as a board member and Treasurer for the Hicksville Historical Society.
Jessie was the devoted wife of the late Christopher A. Doyle for 23 years, and together they raised two children, Christopher and Kathleen Doyle. At the age of 67, Jessie opened her heart once more to help raise her eldest grandson, Brian Doyle. She cherished time with her grandchildren and had many passions, including traveling, cooking, playing piano and organ, completing daily crossword puzzles, and recording videos with her grandson Brian.
Jessie's legacy lives on through her children, Kathleen M. and Christopher F. Doyle, and daughter-in-law Michelle Doyle; her treasured grandchildren Brian, Joseph, Patrick, and Kevin Doyle; her sister Nancy DiLillo and brother-in-law Salvatore DiLillo; and her adored nieces and nephews Patrick J. DeMonaco, Cathy Mauriello, Theresa DeMonaco, Sal DiLillo Jr., Maria Lipscomb, and Jeannie DiLillo.
She now rests peacefully with her beloved parents, Mary and Frank DeMonaco; her husband, Christopher A. Doyle; and her siblings, Rosemarie, Patrick, and Frank DeMonaco.
