Jesus Rubio, 28 of Hobbs, New Mexico passed away January 06, 2025, at Covenant Hobbs Hospital.
Mr. Rubio was born October 18, 1996 to Albert Aquero and Nancy Enriquez in Farmington, New Mexico.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Cornelio Martinez officiating.
Cremation services will follow at a later date.
Jesus was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico where he attended Las Montana's High School and he graduated in 2016. Jesus was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was only 17 years old and fought through this vicious disease and was in remission. During these trying times Jesus never stopped smiling. He made everyone laugh with his jokes and he had a smile his family will never forget. Jesus loved to dance, but most of all he loved spending time with his nephew Matteo. Jesus loved his family and being with his cousins. He is met in Heaven by his great-grandmother Socorro who he truly adored. Jesus will be forever missed and loved by all those who knew him.
Jesus is survived by his father: Albert Aquero. Mother: Nancy Enriquez and step father: Jamie Avila. Two sisters: Yesenia Avila and Mariah Ramos. Nephew: Matteo Sebastian Angel. Maternal grandmother: Imelda Enriquez. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Jesus was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother: Socorro Enriquez.
Services are under the direction of Calvary Memorial Funeral Home of Hobbs, New Mexico.
